I am a passionate sportsman who has undertaken various
challenges to enable me to understand what it takes to achieve the ultimate
fitness goal. By having such a broad range of knowledge across several sports I
am able to adapt my programmes and fitness requirements accordingly. I know
what works best and have the proof in the results I have achieved.
Despite my love for all sports, it is rowing that takes up my spare time at the moment. I am currently living in London (Richmond), after having completed my (BSc) degree in Sports Management Golf. I am rowing for Thames Rowing Club based in Putney and am extremely proud to have competed at Henley Royal Regatta on numerous occasions and have reached the final 16 on two separate occasions. At Thames RC, I train between 10 and 12 sessions a week, working on the various components that are required for the sport, such as; Cardio, Weight Training, Core, Flexibility and the Dietary requirements that enable me to push my body to its optimum potential. When living in Bournemouth, I was the Head Coach of the men's squad of Bournemouth University's rowing club - BUBC. This is where I learnt to row and wanted to give something back to the club that made my university years so special. Coaching a squad of 22 athletes, who all gave their all was great fun and a welcomed challenge. I also like to compete and do other sporting challenges such as cycling from lands End to John O Groats and in The French Alps to running a Marathon in Rome. After being a Greenkeeper for a number of years, I re-trained as a personal trainer and love my job! I like to keep ahead of the game in the fitness industry, always looking for new ways to better my services and provide a unique experience for all of my clients/groups, whatever their aims might be. Now being located in Richmond, I have decided to look at how I can make the many golfers out there improve their handicaps and make the game more enjoyable. Golf biomechanics and working the correct muscle groups in the right motion are just some of the aspects that I know will achieve results. Interested? Then why not get in touch! At every available opportunity, I am also kept busy training my chocolate Labrador, Coco, which is easier said than done. Food does always seem to help when she has done well!
